• Surgi Scrub 4% Antimicrobial Hand Soap Surgi Scrub 4% is an antimicrobial hand soap, containing 4% chlorhexidine gluconate which has antibacterial and bacteriostatic properties against a wide range bacteria, viruses and fungi.
• It is formulated as foam product for effective cleaning and with emollients to maintain the skin's natural oil and moisture levels.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE Do not dilute. To be used full strength As a Surgical Hand Scrub : 

1. Remove all jewelry on hands and wrist. 

2. We hands and forearms with water and then apply Surgi Scrub 4% ( 1 pump or a foam size of about 2 inches in diameter) 

3. Scrub hands and forearms for 3 minutes paying particular attention to nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces. 

4. Rinse thoroughly with water. 

5. Wet hands and forearms again and then apply Surgi Scrub 4% ( 1 pump or a foam size of about 2 inches in diameter ) 

6. Wash hand and arms for 3 minutes. 

 Rinse thoroughly with water. As a Health Care Personnel Handwash : 

• Wet hands and forearms and apply Surgi Scrub 4%
• Scrub for 30 seconds then rinse and thoroughly dry. For General Skin Cleansing
• Thoroughly rinse the area to be cleansed with water.
• Apply the minimum amount of Surgi Scrub 4% necessary to cover the skin.
• Wash gently
• Rinse thoroughly with water.
• Surgi Scrub 4% is not meant for routine cleansing of skin or wounds which involve more than the superficial layers.
• Surgi Scrub 4% is also not to be used for repeated general skin cleansing of large body areas except in those patients whose underlying condition requires a reduction in the bacterial population of the skin.
• WARNINGS : FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY AVOID CONTACT WITH MUCOUS MEMBRANES LIKE EYES, EARS AND MOUTH.
• DO NOT USE AS A PREOPERATIVE SKIN PREPARATION FOR THE FACE AND HEAD. Surgi Scrub 4% contains chlorhexidine. Inform your healthcare provider if you have a known allergy to chlorhexidine. Stop using this product and seek immediate medical assistance if you experience rash, itching, swelling, breathing diffculties,light-headedness or rapid heartbeat. In case of ingestion, drink large glasses of water and seek a physician immediately. This preparation contains 4% Isopropyl alcohol.
