This allows for precise incision, ablation, and coagulation simultaneously, making it ideal for gum cutting procedures. 

Compared to diode lasers, CO2 lasers provide superior cutting precision and better bleeding control, as the energy is absorbed directly at the tissue surface, reducing deep thermal damage.
